Who We Are
Bogetenga Children's Home is a faith based nonprofit dedicated to caring for vulnerable children in Kenya. We provide orphaned and at risk children with a safe home, education, nutritious meals, and the love of a caring community.
Our mission is rooted in the belief that every child is created with purpose and potential. Through child sponsorship and generous giving, we walk alongside each child on their journey toward a future filled with hope and dignity.
In partnership with Common Ground Church and supporters around the world, we are building a village of love, one child at a time.
Our Name
Why we are called Kenya Kids
Kenya Kids is the name of our child sponsorship ministry and the home of this website, kenya-kids.org. Many of our supporters in the United States know the work as Johnny's Kids, after Pastor Johnny Chambers of Calais, Maine, who has championed these children and connected sponsors with Bogetenga Children's Home.
Whichever name you know us by, the mission is the same: loving children to life in Kisii, Kenya.

Why Kenya
